"Quilting" a Story

We'll begin with an idea, and write the first paragraph to get you started; you continue to follow the story anyway you choose, and we'll see how our "story quilt" begins to unfold.

It's up to you how big our "quilt" becomes, so grab a cup of tea or coffee, wrap yourself in a quilt, and start writing!  Let's weave a story that ties together fellow writers and stitches the passions of our creative souls into a story that warms us all over.

Here's the first "block" of our "quilt"

"Oooh!  What was that?"  He said, cranking his head as we drove by the large grey house on the hill.  "Maybe we could use some of that; did you see all that stuff on the curb?"

She took a deep breath as she rolled her eyes and prayed they would be able to take a different route back.  "Who knows what that could have been, or what it would have been used for from that house," she said.
